Watersprings Christian Centre is a church based in Luton with a God given mandate to liberate the captives of the enemy spiritually, physically and emotionally, thereby allowing them to be the best they can be! At Watersprings, we believe that every person, regardless of their history or environment can become the best version of themselves; maximising their God given potentials and excelling in all they lay their hands on.

Watersprings Christian Centre started as a petite unit of family gatherings, observing Christian fellowship bi-monthly in 2012 until God transformed the assembly in July 2013 to become a spiritual cenotaph to the glory of God. The church is under the leadership of Pastor Stephen Olayinka , a Prophet that through the grace of God has swayed so many lives by declaring the mind of God to them and preaching the unadulterated word of God, he is a versatile teacher of the Bible and great testimonies abound in the ministry.

At Watersprings, we fulfil the great commission, sharing the gospel with all both far and near. We do this by organising seminars that enhance people’s knowledge in life with bible based principles, and also by showing them the love of Christ via empowerment programmes and community outreaches. We deeply care about the youth and pay particular attention to them. We express this by organising academic workshops, relationship talks, counselling classes and prayer meetings dedicated to their holistic development. We also cater to the general public via motivational seminars, musical concerts and periodic prayer and deliverance events which nurture the spirit man and liberate all who may be held captive by the enemy.

There is no church without you. As we exist to help, support, encourage and pray for you, we would be glad to have you in our midst! We meet every week on Fridays and Sundays. MEET OUR PASTOR

Pastor Stephen Olayinka is the senior pastor of Watersprings Christian Centre (WCC), London. He is a vibrant missionary, preaching the unadulterated word of God and endowed with ample prophetic grace coupled with deliverance anointing through which God is transforming lives of people.

A graduate of Banking & Finance from a reputable institution in Nigeria; He was a seasoned banker until 2004 when he furthered to Ambrose University College, Alberta Calgary, Canada where he obtained Master of Arts (M.A) in Leadership & Ministry.
He is finely honed and dynamic, proficient in motivating people towards living their dreams and fulfilling their mission in life. Besides ministry, he is an entrepreneur specialized in oil & Gas and an IT consultant in the UK.
Pastor Stephen Olayinka is happily married and they are both blessed with children.

A. God expects us to be totally transformed.

God expects that, when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we will be radically changed (Romans 12:2)
Be new in the attitude of your minds” (Eph 4:23).
Put off your old self” and “put on the new self” (Eph 4:22,24; Col 3:9-10).
Live by the Spirit” and not by the flesh (Gal 5:16; Rom 8:13).
Become “instruments of righteousness” rather than “instruments of wickedness” (Rom 6:13).
Be buried with him through baptism into death” in order that “we may live a new life” (Rom 6:4)
Be born again” (John 3:3,5); born from above, of the spirit and not the flesh

B. Why do we need transformation?

Become like God in personality Eph 5:24; Col 3:10; 1 Cor 2:16; Phil 2:5;
Live for the things that are unseen: 2 Cor 4:18; Col 3:1-2; 2 Cor 3:18
Live by the spirit “God’s Spirit lives in you” (1 Cor 3:16). It is because we have the Holy Spirit living in us that we are able to be transformed.
Yield to God: Rom 6:13, 6:19, 6:16

C. How can we achieve this transformation?

Believe: We must “believe and not doubt”; a double-minded person cannot receive anything from God
Make a decision (choose): We must choose to be transformed, now choose life…” (Deut 30:19-20). God gives us that same choice today
Stay in God’s word: (Mat 4:4): We need both the logos, and general word of God recorded in his Scriptures, and the rhema word specifically tailored to our personal situation and needs.
Guard our thoughts: we need to guard carefully what goes into our mind. We need to think on those things that are true, noble, right, pure, etc. (Phil 4:8)
Pray and keep asking: Mat. 7:7
Perseverance: Jesus told his disciples “that they should always pray and not give up” (Luke 18:1; Heb. 12:1;Mat 11:12).
Resist the enemy: We fight the enemy, not in our strength, but in God’s. (Eph 6:10; Luke 10:19)

TENETS OF FAITH

The Word of God (scripture) is the final authority and dependable, without fault, given for the purpose of guiding man to salvation 2 Tim. 3:14 -17
The Triune God, The Scripture reveals that there are three distinct Persons in the Godhead, named the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The entire undivided unity of the Divine Spirit exists as a Trinity that is equal and alike in nature and attributes. They are distinct in their personalities, each having His own mind and will, and each engaged on His own work, yet essentially one in will, purpose and activity. These three Persons are numerically one substance or essence, and constitute one invisible God (Isa. 48: 16; Matt 28:19; Luke 22:24; John 5:18; 10:30; 16: 7,13-15; 17:22-24; Rom. 8:26, 27, 32; llCor. 13:14; Eph. 4:4-6 )
God is eternal, or self-existent. God the Father is the Creator of heavens and earth. He alone is thus: for every other being derives existence from ‘Him and is maintained by God alone and the sustainer all things. There is but one God, Having no beginning, He can have no ending, whereas His creatures who have immortality possess it by endowment only (Neh. 9:6; Psalm 90:2:139; Col. 1:16,17; 1 Tim. 1:17)
God is infinite, whatever He possesses He possesses in infinite degree, naturally and morally, and is perfect in all His ways (Psalm 147:5; Jer.23:24), eternal and perfect in holiness, truth and love.
God’s natural attributes perfectly fit Him to be the absolute Sovereign of the creation and because His Glory rests not only on the existence of these attributes but also on the use He makes of them. God’s moral character is of infinite interest and importance. The flawless glory of all the divine perfections in union, therefore, is their manifestation of God’s character as benevolent which is the sum of all His moral perfections (Exo. 33:18, 19; 34:5-7)
God the Son, Jesus was supernaturally conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of Virgin Mary, and was without sin. He was the vicarious sacrifice of the sin of all mankind through His death on the cross. He rose from the dead in His own glorious body, appeared to many, ascended unto Heaven, and will return to earth in power and glory. He is the Head of the body – the Christ (Colo. 1:18; Eph. 5:23)
God the Holy spirit convicts the World of sin due to utter depravity of human nature, God requires repentance and righteousness from all (Act 11:18; 17:30). Therefore, Regeneration (or a “new birth”) is essential, for man’s own depraved nature is incapable of a life pleasing to God (Ezek. 36: 26; John 3: 3, 6) thus, unites man to Jesus Christ in faith, brings about new birth, and become a gift of the Church
The Baptism of the Holy spirit are available to all who believe in Jesus Christ, and will totally surrender their lives to the complete, perfect will of God (Mat. 3: 16)
The Gift of the Holy spirit are available through the Holy spirit and fruit of the Holy spirit( Gal . 5:22,23) is the character of God and must be evident in the life of every disciple as pre-condition for the resting and manifestation of the seven spirits of God (Isaiah 11:1,2, Rev 1:4,4:5;5:6) are for the church today.
Man was created in the image and the likeness of God. Through the original sin of Adam and Eve, mankind fell from God and became sinful in nature. He is totally incapable of returning to God himself and he is lost without hope, apart from the salvation of Jesus Christ.
There is no other name except that of Jesus Christ by which men may be saved; man is born again by the Holy Spirit trusting in Christ and His vicarious death (Act. 4:12; John 4:12)
The church is the Body and Bride of Christ, with the mission is to take the gospel to all men in all Nations to make disciples of them (Rev. 21:9,10-19; 19:7-9; 2 Cor. 11-12)
The consummation of all things including the visible personal return of Jesus, the return of the dead and the translation of those alive in Christ into the presence of God, the marriage supper of the Lamb, the Millennial of Christ and the final Judgement to man if he refuses to repent in his earthly life, passes under the judgement of God (Luke 13:3; Rom. 2:5, 6; Heb. 9:27). The suffering of such impenitent wicked has no end (Rev. 14: 9-11), and there is no possibility, after death, of repentance or escape from sin and its punishment (Luke 16: 26; Rev. 22:11)
