CAREER DEVELOPMENT SESSION 1
Career Development Session 1 | New
In November 2025, we successfully delivered a specialised Career Development Session focused on supporting participants to write confidently and effectively at NVQ Level 7 and above. This advanced writing workshop was designed for individuals pursuing senior-level qualifications or professional development pathways, equipping them with the skills needed to produce high-quality academic, reflective, and evidence-based written work.
As part of our wider Employability Skills Project, the session brought together learners from diverse backgrounds who are eager to strengthen their professional capabilities and unlock new career opportunities.​
HOW THIS SESSION HELPS
This session helps participants:

Develop clear, structured, and academically sound writing suitable for Level 7+ qualifications.

Understand expectations for critical thinking, analysis, and professional reflection.

Improve their ability to present arguments, cite evidence, and communicate with clarity and confidence.

Strengthen employability by enhancing written communication, an essential skill for career progression, postgraduate study, and leadership roles.
By building advanced writing skills, the session supports learners who are aiming to progress into management positions, higher education pathways, or specialised professional fields
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
This workshop was delivered as part of our ongoing commitment to empowering the local community through the Employability Skills Project. Participants included young adults, women returning to the workforce, job seekers, and individuals aiming to reskill or advance their careers.
The session created a supportive learning environment where community members could build confidence, share experiences, and encourage each other. By strengthening writing and communication skills, the project helps local residents take meaningful steps toward long-term personal and professional growth.
